Hypnotist goes under
He may cast a spell over audiences but a top local hypnotist hasn’t been able to stop the credit crunch sending him under.
Comedy hypnotist Gareth Fulton, from Newtownards, Co Down, has filed for bankruptcy and the order was granted in the High Court in Belfast just before Christmas.
The all-round entertainer, who used to be an agent for other acts including the late comedian Bernard Manning, told Sunday Life that he is one of the many victims of the credit crunch.
He explained that his company Gareth Fulton Entertainments is still afloat and that he continues to work as a stage hypnotist in the UK and in Spain.
