Johnny Adair beat up actor who portrayed him
The actor who played Johnny Adair in the TV drama Mo has revealed how he once took a beating from the ex-UFF leader and how he was a school friend of loyalist hardman Ihab Shoukri.
Marc O’Shea, 36, who was raised in the Lower Ormeau Road area of Belfast, has received rave reviews for his performance as the man they called Mad Dog in the Channel 4 programme which was broadcast last Sunday night.
Cliftonville fan Marc revealed that it was on the day of a Linfield-Reds game in the late ’80s that he came face to face with the man he was to portray 20 years later.
