Joy of six is brief for Ulster
Despite a sixth Magners League win in succession, Ulster’s impressive achievement was always going to struggle for attention up against next Sunday’s massive Heineken Cup quarter-final with Northampton Saints.
The Saints game has been on the radar for quite a while but now Ulster’s first taste of the last eight since they lifted the Cup on that never-to-be-forgotten day at the old Lansdowne Road back in 1999, has finally rumbled into direct view.
It promises to be a huge occasion at stadium:mk in Milton Keynes with Ulster testing themselves against one of the pace-setting sides in the Aviva Premiership.
