Lennon: I may have to leave Celtic
Celtic boss Neil Lennon yesterday admitted that he could yet be forced to QUIT his dream job — if the terror campaign against him is cranked up even further.
Lennon, along with club lawyer Paul McBride and Celtic-supporting former MSP Trish Godman, were the recipient of “viable” parcel bombs last week.
Sunday Life exclusively revealed in January that Lennon and Northern Irish-born Celtic players Niall McGinn and Paddy McCourt had been sent bullets through the post, which was the first of a number of sinister death threats.
The 39-year-old Hoops manager — who has been reassured that there is no paramilitary link to this latest outrage — has been forced to increase intrusive 24/7 security surrounding him and his family.
