A prominent Shankill Road loyalist arrested yesterday by police investigating the murder of Bobby Moffett was last night freed without charge.
Sources say 55-year-old Joe ‘No Neck’ McGaw was taken away to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning by cops following a search of his Bromley Street home yesterday morning.
However last night the PSNI said the man had been released.
Mr Moffett, a former loyalist prisoner, was shot dead by two masked gunmen on the Shankill Road in May last year.
