Four children who disappeared from their home in the Irish Republic with a man may be in Northern Ireland.

Gardai have concerns for their welfare after they went missing with a horse gambling industry figure from Sussex, England.

They were last seen on Thursday. Police said the children are believed to be in the company of 30-year-old Steven Appleton, thought to have possession of a silver Vauxhall Zafira, registered number DY08 JYF.
