A teenager murdered in an horrific knife attack in Co Down yesterday survived a brutal stabbing last summer.
Paul Owens, 18, had his throat cut outside the Anchor Bar in Newcastle shortly after 1am.
He was attacked by a number of people who jumped out of a passing van and was stabbed at least three times.
The assault occurred in Donard Park but Paul managed to escape to the Bryansford Road where he had his throat slashed. He died later in hospital.
Two men aged 26 and 29, and a 20-year-old woman are being questioned about the murder.
