A former druglord who fled to Thailand to avoid cops and rival gangsters says he has come back to Northern Ireland to “face the music”.
Career criminal John ‘Catch Me If You Can' Linden went on the run to the Far East in 2002.
He bolted prior to being named in court as the brains behind a benefit fraud scam that netted tens of thousands of pounds.
Before jetting off into the sun the 55-year-old was also accused of stealing more than £30,000 of dirty money from criminal pals.
Although Linden denied the theft he vowed never to come home because his underworld associates wanted revenge and the PSNI was determined to put him behind bars.
