Hospital bomber Liam Dougan causes Unionist fury in Sinn Fein security role

A hospital bomber provided security for Sinn Fein leaders at their Europa Hotel conference attended by PSNI Chief Constable Matt Baggott.

Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness was protected from loyalist hecklers outside the hotel by killer Liam Rory Dougan, 45, who was convicted of the barbaric no-warning IRA attack on Belfast’s Musgrave Park Hospital in 1991.

TUV leader Jim Allister is demanding to know if government cash was used to pay Dougan, who last year became a licensed door supervisor.
