Andrea Begley calls in to Sunday Life office - read her exclusive story in this week's Sunday Life.
The 27-year-old from Pomeroy, Co Tyrone, who is the niece of Irish country music legend Philomena Begley, was crowned winner of the second series of the hit BBC1 show last month after wowing viewers with her rendition of Evanescence's My Immortal.
The singer beat bookmakers' favourite, Belfast girl Leah McFall, to clinch an exclusive record deal with Universal.
The Northern Irish singer told host Holly Willoughby: "Honestly, first and foremost I have to thank everyone at home for voting for me. Hopefully I will try my best to put your vote to good use and be a success. Thank you so much."
Irish rocker Danny hailed Andrea's victory and called her an "inspiration".
Andrea also earned high praise from the other mentors, Jessie J, Tom Jones and Will.i.am during the final.
