PSNI name 'UDA chief'
Police have named a “UDA chief” in court in connection with the attempted kidnap of an east Belfast criminal.
Cops last week named William Floyd as the Dee Street leader of the loyalist gang during a bail bid by suspected UDA man David ‘Dee’ Bell.
Bell used his work van during a bid to kidnap Brian McCullough on September 8, the court was told. But McCullough escaped and went to police. Cops say Floyd has since gone on the run.
