Snouts in the public trough
Christmas came early last week for MLAs who got to tuck into festive feasts — subsidised by hard-up taxpayers.

Three-course Christmas dinners in the grandeur of Parliament Buildings cost MLAs just £5.30 a head this year.
A comparable seasonal lunch at a restaurant in Belfast would cost between £20 and £30.
