Nigel Worthington is turning a deaf ear to any utterances from Italian manager Cesare Prandelli.
The Northern Ireland boss is determined not to get involved in any psychological battles or war of words ahead of next month’s European qualifier.
Prandelli has kicked off the propaganda campaign following Italy’s 5-0 thrashing of the Faroe Island — by praising Worthy’s men after their win in Slovenia.
But Worthington raps: “He can say what he likes, we’ll not be taking any notice."
