A brutal murderer who kicked a helpless man to death has failed in a bid to silence Sunday Life.
Cowardly killer Ronald Craig, 25, complained to the Press Complaints Commission (PCC) after we called him a “brute”, and wanted this newspaper to be banned from using the word to describe him.
In a letter to the PCC the cry-baby killer's solicitor Kevin Winters said our use of the term was “sensationalistic and provocative”.
Craig, who is serving life for the 2001 murder of Trevor Gowdy, also moaned about us saying he had been in awe of his co-accused — UDA thug Harry Speers who dropped dead in jail in 2008.
But the PCC threw out the killer’s audacious complaint and backed Sunday Life.
