Pokemon Go craze sweeps across Northern Ireland

Pokémon Go, the latest gaming craze to sweep the globe, has arrived in Northern Ireland.

The augmented reality app brings the Poké Ball-slinging game mechanic into the real world through using a smartphone camera.

In the game Pokémon characters are shown in real-life locations through your smartphone's camera.  Users then try to catch them.

Since its release in the US it has become one of the most popular games ever with shares in the games owners Nintendo rocketing.

And given its popularity the release date for UK gamers has been put on hold to prepare for the expected huge demand.

However, that hasn't stopped eager Northern Ireland gamers getting their hands on the game.
