Ulster Uni to create jobs in data analytics
Ulster University is creating 12 research posts paying an average of more than £60,000 a year at a new data analytics institute in Londonderry.
The centre is the first of its kind in Northern Ireland and will deliver salaries of £4m over five years, the university said.
The centre is headquartered at Magee Campus in the city, but will also have an office in Belfast.
The university said data analytics had become a sought-after discipline in many fields such as health and medical research, financial technology, international finance and governmental policy and decisions.
