What a load of Tosh -there's nothing in that list that I could honestly say I want - Tupperware dishes or a cake stand? I know where they'd go if my hubby bought them!!

I expected this article to be realistic - and am very disappointed! Very overpriced/financially unrealitic suggestions as well as items that are not personal - i.e. if my husband bought me plates or tupperware i would be more than offended - giifts like these reinforce those age old stereotypes about women and for another woman to suggest such a gift is unbelievable.

Barnaby Barfords cermancics prices start from £4000. Exactly how many people could afford to spend that on a Christmas present? I had hoped that this article would be sensible and provide some good gift ideas but no such luck!

A load of pretentious overpriced rubbish! I actually thought this article would have been useful. I think Ms Batten has lost touch with what real women want never mind reality!! Not a Joaquin Phoenix calendar in sight!

I'm a woman and I wouldnt like any of these gifts under the tree on Christmas morning. Apart from the fact that my husband's job like many others is unsteady, I could not accept a present as expensive as the gifts on offer, my conscience would not allow me to. Especially when the cost of a pair of these shoes could be given to Charities to give life and hope to others more in need and deserving this Christmas, both home and abroad - Isnt that what Christmas is supposed to be about - thinking of others.
