The Ten Best International Sporting Rivalries
Friday, 9 October 2009

Argentina v Brazil (football) South America's two greatest football nations love nothing more than getting one over on the other in what has become one of the most passionate of all rivalries in sport. Games have been marred by unsavoury incidents, with Arcadio López of Argentina being escorted from the pitch by police after attacking the referee and mass brawls between the two sides. Accusations have also been made by both sides of underhand tactics and match fixing. The South American rivalry even extends to boasting over who lays claim to the greatest footballer of all time, with Brazilians arguing in favour of Pele and Argentineans for Maradona.
From England and old foes Australia in cricket to Brazil and Argentina in football ... sport has thrown up some intriguing rivalries down the years.

I saw the picture between El Salvador vs Honduras rivalry in football. But these nations belong to Central America, not South America. It seems that the guy who published this article forget his Geography lessons.
