Eight of the top 20 accommodation providers are classified as B&Bs, alongside ten hotels, one hostel and one serviced apartment hotel.
There are a huge range of average room rates among the top-rated in Northern Ireland, from £49 to £228 per night.
Belfast holds a monopoly on top-rated hotels in the region, with six in the top 20 – three of which are in the top ten. This is unusual compared to other regions of the UK, where the best-rated hotels tend to be found in smaller towns and villages. Enniskillen and Derry also boast two top-rated hotels each.
