Belfast Harbour has announced plans to invest £7m in Ireland’s first purpose built cruise facility. The new berth will enable visitors to disembark directly within walking distance of the city’s Titanic visitor attractions from 2014. This year a record 60 ships and 110,000 passengers and crew will visit Belfast, providing an £18m boost to the economy. The artist’s impression features the Caribbean Princess, a regular caller to Belfast with over 4,000 visitors and crew.
