Evidence has emerged that the fire that devastated the 144-year-old landmark could have been started deliberately. Police suspect it could have been arson. The news comes on the day Prime Minister David Cameron and Chancellor George Osborne visited the seaside resort. Downing Street announced that up to £2 million will be given to help Eastbourne's tourism industry recover from the loss of the attraction.
