Controversial ad vans warning illegal immigrants to go home or face deportation have borrowed National Front rhetoric from the 1970s, Yvette Cooper said today. She said the Home Office vans were a disgrace, telling delegates at the Labour Party Conference in Brighton they were no different to racist graffiti urging migrants to leave the UK 40-years-ago.
