Video: Residents from Belfast's Lower Falls protest against anti-social behaviour
Elderly people living in the Lower Falls area of Belfast are afraid to leave their homes because of the continuing scourge of so-called 'anti-social behaviour' in the area.
Fr Martin Graham, from St Peter's Cathedral, spoke to the media when he attended a demonstration on Thursday night organised by the Lower Falls Residents' Association.
"Tonight is necessary because people living around here are living in fear.
"Some of the elderly people are afraid to leave their homes because they have been attacked in the past.
"Parents are afraid to let their children out because they are afraid they'll be hit by a car being driven erratically.
"It's good to see that the community is coming forward to bring all of this to an end, to make the place safer for everyone," he said.
Local representatives of the IRSP, Sinn Fein and the Workers' Party were among those who attended the rally
