Anthea Turner dresses up as Madonna

Anthea Turner poses as Madonna

TV presenter Eamonn Holmes may be arguing with BBC comedians who make jokes about his weight — but his former on-screen partner, Anthea Turner, is still turning heads at 50.

The woman our Eamonn once infamously labelled ‘Princess Tippy Toes’ has posed for a glamorous photoshoot in Closer magazine that mimics pop queen Madonna’s look from the 2005 hit Hung Up.

Anthea, who appeared alongside Eamonn on GMTV for almost five years in the ‘90s, was paying tribute to Madonna ahead of the star’s 52nd birthday next Monday.

Anthea said: “I think Madonna's amazing and it’s great to be able to try on someone else’s wardrobe for a day.”

She added: “I have to watch what I eat more these days. 'My weight fluctuates between 8st and 9st and I’ve never been any heavier.

“I’m a real chocoholic and I love pasta, but I can’t really eat them any more.”
