Paul Costelloe among 200 international designers at London's Savoy hotel for summer fashion show

Over 200 international designers, including Irishman Paul Costelloe, descended on London’s Savoy hotel last week to showcase their stunning collections for J Model Management’s Summer Fashion Show.

The show, choreographed by international movement director K Knight, combined various styles and textures from the summery and colourful silk dresses by Denmark designer Charlotte Spare to the contemporary dark denim outfits by German designer Gregor Clemens.

Also showcasing collections was Dutch celebrity designer Addy van den Krommenacker, Jaeger London, Maicco and Danny Tang among many others from over 13 fashion capitals all in one night at the famous Lancaster Ballroom.

Romanian brand Mad Hatter Boutique brought to the show elegant yet very intriguing and imaginative fascinators that tell different stories.

The Mad Hatter Boutique created the wow factor with their bold and elegant hats and fascinators.

Addy van den Krommenacker provided the finale with dresses, most of which have a train ranging from sweeping to royal length, that were made with metallic chain-mail, taffeta, and chiffon fabrics.

Krommenacker expressed his delight for the first time showcasing in London. “We flew here just for the show and it was all worth it. My couture collection was showcased beautifully”.

The highlight of the show, besides the big opening by Paul Costelloe and ending by Addy van den Krommenacker, was the creative and unique collection from Georgian designer Maicco, who accessorized the dresses with pieces of musical instruments to give the entire collection a jazzy feel.

Besides over two hundred international designers, brand managers and representatives from UK fashion and beauty companies and PR agencies, British TV faces like Jayne Wisener, Kelly Adams, Dawn Porter, and Shaun Smith, VIPs on the red carpet included country ambassadors from Austria, Argentina, Vietnam, Ireland, Lithuania, Romania, Trinidad & Tobacco, and Kyrgyzstan.

Jessica Minh Anh, model, entrepreneur and managing director of J Model Management, is already planning the next high profile fashion show for mid October 2011, which she said “will include the most spectacular setup and the most mind blowing collections from more than 50 creative designers worldwide”.
