Amanda Seyfried says women should avoid washing their hair if they want to achieve her signature tousled tresses.
The American actress is famed for her lengthy blonde locks which are often effortlessly styled into loose waves. Amanda revealed the surprising trick to garnering the look is to avoid keeping hair too clean.
"Don't wash it!" she exclaimed in an interview with Stylelist. "I wash my hair every three days which is something I would've never imagined years ago, but I also use dry shampoo and my hair is even healthier."
Amanda has revealed her top beauty must-haves. The stunning star insists simple products can go a long way.
"I like darker lipsticks and I absolutely can't live without my concealer stick. Clé de Peau's mascara keeps my eyelashes curled even though they're really straight," she said.
Amanda takes good care of her skin. The 26-year-old boasts a porcelain complexion, which she credits to a healthy lifestyle.
"During the day, I use the Gentle Protective Emulsion moisturiser with SPF. I'm really scared of the sun, in terms of what it can do to your skin," she revealed. "And I don't go to bed without putting on La Creme. It smells really good and when I wake up, I know my face is going to feel really good."
Amanda is the face of luxe Japanese beauty company Clé de Peau Beauté. The star still finds it strange to see herself as a beauty spokesmodel.
"You're being captured in a candid way that doesn't feel so candid, but at the same time it's really fresh," she said. "I still have a hard time watching myself."
