Anton Yelchin feels like a "totally different human being" when he dons designer suits.
The 22-year-old actor prefers a casual aesthetic during the day, but enjoys dressing up for red carpet appearances.
Anton dons luxe labels including Christian Dior and Balenciaga, and appreciates the well-made attire.
"I've realised how great it is to put on a nice suit. It makes you feel like a totally different human being," he revealed in an interview with ASOS magazine.
"When you don't understand the fashion world you're just grateful you get to wear good clothes."
Anton's style wasn't always so dapper. The star used to be part of punk band The Hammerheads, and cited Pete Doherty as his fashion inspiration.
The American actor soon changed his opinion on his punky aesthetic.
"Babyshambles wore suits so I made our band do that. After a couple of shows I felt like an idiot," he laughed.
"We looked like a cheesy 90s punk band. I just feel like, who gives a f**k?"
