Beyoncé and Solange Knowles are apparently “true ladies” when it comes to returning sample clothes.
A-listers are often lent gorgeous gowns by designers for red carpet and stage appearances, which they send back after using them.
Fashion mogul Rubin Singer recently created a unitard for Beyoncé to wear in Las Vegas during a New Year’s Eve performance, and the designer is always impressed with her manners when returning pieces.
Rubin told Glamour magazine the famous sisters are “the only celebrities that always dry clean and send clothes back in a box, with a hand-written thank you note. They are true ladies.”
The process of making and fitting clothes can be long and tiresome for a designer.
Whereas some famous faces might succumb to diva behaviour, Rubin insists Beyoncé always remains polite.
“When you do a fitting with her, she doesn’t keep you waiting half a day like some celebrities do,” he revealed.
“When she’s there, she’s present and honest and grateful.”
Rubin and the gorgeous singer have been working together on the star’s wardrobe for some time.
The designer admits there are certain perks to the job, particularly when dealing with a client as lovely as the 31-year-old singer.
"She and I have had a working relationship now for about five years and in that time, I've been invited to every concert she's had in New York, she's introduced me to people she thinks I should work with, she and her team are just incredibly generous people,” he gushed.
