Beyoncé Knowles cuts her own hair and recently chopped off "two inches [herself]."

The stunning singer was crowed the world's most beautiful woman in the new issue of People magazine yesterday.

While she long been known for her glamour, Beyoncé insists she has eased up on her beauty routine since giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy in January.

The 30-year-old beauty has ditched her expensive hair stylist and has taken matters into her own hands.

"I recently cut two inches myself - I just parted it in the middle and chh-chh-chh!," she quipped in an interview with the US magazine.

The Crazy in Love star has also hung up her stilettos since becoming a mother. She was most recently seen stepping out in a pair of $660 Charlotte Olympia 'Cat-Face' flats in New York.

"I never thought there would be a day when I wouldn't wear heels," she confessed.

"Now that I have a child, I walk around holding her all day, I'm buying loafers and oxfords. I love them because they're comfortable, and shorter heels too.

"[ Husband Jay-Z] loves it when I wear flat shoes, which is surprising - he never saw me in flats before! He likes me more natural - just more relaxed, natural me."

Beyoncé is also loving her new low-key look. She feels more confident in her skin as a mother.

"I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth. I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth," she said. "The best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy. The word 'love' means something completely different now."

The two of you get along very well, but beware of the financial toll this relationship will take. The object of your affection likes expensive things. If you're not able to provide them with the luxuries they crave, there will be problems. Then again, you have the potential for being a good provider, so all may be well.More
