Blake Lively has "truly gorgeous hair".
The blonde bombshell is renowned for her big mane of hair and often sports intricate designs on set and the red carpet.
The star's celebrity hairdresser Serge Normant created the Gossip Girl star's style for a glitzy arts event and gushed about her unique fashion sense.
Serge says the look was inspired by screen siren Brigitte Bardot.
"I did a Bardot, '60s-inspired ponytail on Blake for a MOMA dinner honouring Pedro Almodóvar last November. I love the way she does things, she has a great sense of style and truly gorgeous hair," Serge told the UK edition of Glamour magazine.
The hair pro also revealed his number one styling mistake.
Despite having a penchant for voluminous retro dos, Serge explained that he uses hairspray only sparingly to avoid a helmet-like effect.
"I never over-use hairspray. It's meant to hold, but you have to be able to run your hands through it," he said.
