Blake Lively looked stunning in silver as she attended a Chanel soiree in New York City yesterday.

The event celebrated the 80th anniversary of the Bijoux de Diamants collection, originally created by Gabrielle Chanel in 1932.

The Gossip Girl star attended the glamorous event in a silver Chanel dress with plunging neckline, teamed with Christian Louboutin shoes.

The detail on Blake's gown was the talking point of the night, with pale pink columns and pleats giving her outfit an edge.

Straps at the back gave a chain-link effect, snaking all the way down her spine.

The 25-year-old kept her blonde locks wavy and swept over one shoulder, oozing Hollywood glamour.

The natural beauty is lucky enough to look gorgeous with very little effort, and kept her make-up minimal for the event.

A coat of mascara and a slick of pink lipstick was enough to ensure Blake stood out.

Also at the star-studded event were Diane Kruger, January Jones and Elle Fanning.

Diane looked great in a blue dress and carrying a clashing yellow clutch bag.

January kept it classy in monochrome, while Elle impressed in a quirky collared dress, complete with bowler hat.
