Britain's Duchess of Cambridge stepped out wearing a suit made by a "Catherine Middleton freak" this week.
The 30-year-old royal donned a blue tweed two-piece suit by designer Rebecca Taylor at a public event yesterday. Rebecca was over the moon to see Catherine don the ensemble - which is from the New York label's pre autumn/winter 2012-13 collection.
"I got out of the elevator this morning and my team had stuck a picture of her wearing the outfit on the wall opposite," Rebecca told British Vogue.
"I am a Catherine Middleton freak - ever since she came on the scene I said: 'I want to dress that girl.' It's a dream come true. She is a perfect model for our clothes. It fits her so well, it had a grown-up appeal - but it still looks youthful."
Rebecca is a long-time fan of the royal family. The New Zealand-born designer grew up admiring photographs of Diana, Princess of Wales and her young family.
"William's just so handsome isn't he? I know I'm being weird, but I really think his mother would be so proud him," she said.
"Catherine is the perfect princess - she's strong, feminine and modern. He totally lucked out. Not every woman would want that job.
"She always dresses so appropriately, she's very polished and chic. I really loved her in that lilac McQueen gown she wore when she was in LA with William - she looked gorgeous. I'd like to see her in more flowing outfits and actually Rebecca Taylor does lots of those!"
Meanwhile, Catherine's iconic wedding dress immortalised as a Monopoly piece. A miniscule silver version of the beauty's stunning lace gown has been made into a game board piece to mark her one year wedding anniversary to Britain's Prince William this weekend.
Your youthful enthusiasm prompts you to do something very daring. Whether it's submitting creative work for review, asking for a first date, or applying for a plum position is immaterial. The important thing is to take a chance on your happiness. Gambles have a way of paying off. A youngster's progress at school is cause for celebration. It's important to enjoy the happy moments, because they will sustain your young friend through the low points. This is one of the most valuable lessons you will impart.More
