Camila Alves: Engagement ring is beautiful

Camila Alves is thrilled with her "beautiful" engagement ring.

The model is newly betrothed to Hollywood heartthrob Matthew McConaughey and showed off the stunning sparkler at a New York Fashion Week event this week.

Camila has gushed about the gorgeous piece of jewellery

"[Wearing the ring] it feels so great," she explained in an interview with US Weekly. "It's a rose cut. It's a beautiful ring."

The Brazilian beauty admitted she hasn't started planning their big day yet because she has been too busy with her new handbag collection.

Camila started her Muxo line in 2005. The collection is available on shopping channel QVC and a couture collection is now available in upmarket department store Nordstrom.

"It's amazing to be designing. We've been with QVC for a little bit over a year and we have a couture line. It's at Nordstrom and other department stores, but with QVC it's special, because it's instant gratification of hearing from the customer," she said.

Camila also revealed Matthew has great taste when it comes to style.

"Matthew has great taste," she added to People. "He always has great opinions on what works and what doesn't."

Matthew proposed to the beautiful brunette on Christmas morning last year. The couple met in 2007 and has two children together, son Levi, three, and daughter Vida, two.
