Carly Rae Jepsen was "terrified" about her first high fashion photoshoot.
The 26-year-old songstress is Canadian magazine Fashion's October cover star. Carly has admitted that posing in front of a camera didn't come naturally, but she ended up enjoying the experience nonetheless.
"At the beginning I was terrified, I thought it was very hard and I didn't know what to do with my hands. I still don't totally know what to do with my hands, but I'm enjoying it a lot more," she quipped to ET Online.
"Every day I wake up and I can't believe that this is my life and this is something I'm getting to experience. I'm a very lucky girl."
Carly appears in a number of on-trend outfits for the style shoot. The brunette star - who shot to fame with her single Call Me Maybe - was overwhelmed by the array of fashion choices on offer.
"I got things to do," she laughed when the interviewer commented on how quickly she got changed during the shoot.
"No, we just wanted to try a whole whackload of options! I wanted to wear 12, but six was a compromise."
