Christina Aguilera says her Christian Louboutin heels are her "don't f**k with me" shoes.
The singer is known for her eccentric fashion looks and highly sexy sense of style.
When it comes to footwear, the 31-year-old means business as soon as she slips into the six-inch stilettos, encrusted with metal spikes.
"Those are don't f**k with me shoes," she observed to British newspaper The Telegraph.
Last year both Christina and pop princess Rihanna were criticised for their revealing outfits on separate performances for the UK X Factor.
Christina was particularly criticised by British television regulating body Ofcom for her "sexualised" get-up, which featured stockings and suspenders.
The Candyman singer takes reactions such as this in good humour.
"I wouldn't have it any other way!" she laughed when it was suggested she was deemed ruder than Rihanna.
In recent years the star has gained some weight, which has in turn sparked debates about her figure.
However, Christina is confident when it comes to her body and the clothes she dresses it in.
"I have spoken about embracing my curves and loving my body [in the past]," she explained. "It's always been something I'm comfortable with."
