Christopher Kane would like to launch a full handbag collection, which can go from "season to season".
The designer is keen to create a line of classic handbags, but they will of course have a modern twist. Christopher would like to carry on the liquid design that he created for in his Fall/Winter 11 show collection.
"[For Fall/Winter 11] we did a great little liquid clutch reminiscent of pencil cases I had as a kid," he told Vogue. "This made us think that we should build on that platform, and create that bag that is a great classic and can go from season to season."
Christopher's Spring/Summer 12 show was one of the biggest hits of London Fashion Week.
The Scottish designer is a huge advocate of UK designers and admitted he is frustrated that the British Royal family don't always represent the industry. He believes the Duchess of Cambridge should wear more top range labels.
"It's a shame she doesn't wear more designers," he revealed. "I don't really like the high street getting so much of the credit. I understand that there would be an array because you need to relate to so many people in the market, but she is a princess. If I were a princess, I'd be like, 'Oh yeah, bring it on.'"
