Dannii Minogue is "brushing up" on her catwalk moves as she prepares to appear as a judge and mentor on a top modelling show.
The Australian star will begin work in February alongside Elle Macpherson, giving advice to aspiring models on Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model.
The 41-year-old already has some experience in guiding contestants thanks to her stint on the UK X Factor from 2007-2010.
"I am brushing up on my model moves and with my highest platform heels on, I am excited to come face to face with (well maybe look up to) the glamazons of BINTM 2013," she gushed in an official statement.
"Next Top Model has always been a part of my essential TV viewing and I am so excited to be back in the UK for Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model's ninth series. Mentoring and judging has been a major part of my life since 2007. It will be great to strut some fashion and modelling experience with the girls. I remember Elle's first magazine cover in Australia and I have been a fan of hers since then. I am looking forward to joining Elle, Tyson [Beckford] and the contestants to find the next biggest star."
Whereas singer-and-designer Dannii is looking forward to her stint on the show, X Factor creator Simon Cowell may be less pleased.
The music mogul approached the singer to reprise her role on his show, but the beauty politely declined.
"She doesn't want the hassle and the rows that come with doing The X Factor and working in the Cowell machine," a friend explained to British newspaper The Mirror.
"Top Model is a classy show and she loves fashion so it suits her perfectly."
Elle Macpherson will continue in her role as host for the next season, which will air on UK channel Sky Living in the summer.
The stunning star is clearly thrilled with her new colleague.
"I am really enthusiastic about working with Dannii," she said.
"I have watched her blossom into a powerhouse in fashion and television and believe she will bring a fresh energy to the show - plus she's gorgeous."
