Gemma Garrett ready to put on the style

She may have missed out on a nomination for Best Dressed Female, but Ulster beauty queen Gemma Garrett will be adding some glamour to an already glitzy night at the Magners Light Style Awards.
The current Miss Great Britain will be donning her poshest frock to join the province’s fashionistas and style gurus at Cafe Vaudeville in Belfast tonight.
The Magners Light Style Awards, which will be hosted by Cool FM's Kirstie McMurray and Pete Snodden, aim to celebrate all that is stylish about Northern Ireland, from hotels to hair salons, business people to bars.
Former Miss Northern Ireland winners Lucy Evangelista and Gayle Williamson are expected to attend, along with Debby and Gerry Armstrong, Orlaith McCallister, Katie Larmour and Jim Corr.
Speaking ahead of the event Gemma said: “As a beauty queen, style is very important in my job.
“However, I think everyone should aspire to look their best at all times. Looking good helps you feel good and lifts your confidence for the rest of the day.
“The Magners Light Style Awards are the perfect place to see Northern Ireland’s trendsetters and those who are picking up the tips from all the winners on the night.
“If you’re coming along remember three things — dress up, be glamorous and have fun — that’s my philosophy. And good luck to all the entrants in advance.”
