Hannah Simone is “confident” with her womanly figure.
The gorgeous Canadian model-turned-actress stars alongside Zooey Deschanel as Cecilia ‘Cece’ Parekh in the hit comedy.
Hannah is known for her great figure and stunning looks, but there are certain words she would rather not be described as.
“Curvy is just a polite way of saying fat. And I’m not,” she explained to Glow magazine.
“Curvy and voluptuous – that one also got dragged through the mud, that poor word. It really just means a woman with breasts. [But] I’m confident with my body.”
In New Girl, the 32-year-old plays an intelligent model who stands up for what she believes in.
Having had experience in the industry, Hannah knew how she wanted to portray her character.
“Most high-level models that I’ve ever met are actually well-travelled, they’re cultured, and no guy laying a cheesy line on them is actually going to impact their world,” she revealed.
“They’ve heard it a million times... and they walk away from it. So I brought that into the character.”
Female comics have made their mark recently, with Hanna's show and Lena Dunham’s Girls becoming incredibly popular.
Hannah is thrilled to be involved in the world of sitcom.
“It’s an incredibly exciting time to be a comedic actress,” she smiled.
“There is this demand for smart, funny, attractive women.”

She is also seen in a tight-fitting white frock with her long locks swept over one shoulder.
