Jeremy Irvine "frantically" researched designers on the internet when he was invited to dinner with Anna Wintour.
The up-and-coming actor freely admits he isn't that knowledgeable about style. When legendary US Vogue editor Anna summoned him for a meal, Jeremy realised his lack of fashion familiarity might cause him problems.
"No, I honestly wouldn't have a clue!" he laughed, when Company magazine asked if he likes talking about womens' clothes. "I've suddenly found myself doing all these interviews with fashion magazines and I'm like, 'I don't know!' I ended up having dinner with Anna Wintour at her house before I did a shoot for Vogue and I was just dreading her asking me about my favourite designers. I was frantically Googling on the way over there."
Jeremy is just as uninterested when it comes to his own attire. The actor doesn't spend a lot on clothes and doesn't put that much effort into his attire either.
"I kind of have three outfits that I rotate. I find a T-shirt or a pair of jeans that I like, then buy seven different versions! But, I often think the mistake guys make, is trying too hard. Luckily, Christopher Bailey from Burberry has been very kind and supportive, so he gives me a suit every now and then," he said.
