Jessica Chastain sees "glamour and strength" in the YSL brand.

The flame-haired actress was recently named the celebrity ambassador for the luxury label's new fragrance, Manifesto.

Jessica is proud to represent such an iconic fashion house.

"I see a great synergy and connection to this brand," she explained to the Sunday Times Style magazine. "There is this sense of glamour and femininity but also strength."

Despite admitting she is shy, Jessica regularly appears on the red carpet in provocative clothing. The Hollywood star went to the Tonys in an almost see-through Marios Schwab dress.

Jessica likes wearing controversial ensembles that stand out.

"There was a corset under that dress, but it gave the impression that you're wearing pasties. I like art, and fashion to me is art, so I will continue wearing things that I think are beautiful pieces and probably will get people talking," she explained.

Jessica is famed for her gorgeous auburn locks. Although her hair is celebrated now, that wasn't always the case.

"I got teased quite a bit as a child. In the beginning, I thought, 'This is my lot in life.' But I've grown into my red hair now and see it as something that makes me unique and special," she said. "We try, especially in school, to fit in and water ourselves down, but my favourite people are the ones who teach you something because they're different from you."

Working behind the scenes will yield significant rewards. If someone asks you to serve as their assistant, go ahead and accept. The pay will be excellent and there will be a lot of fringe benefits, too. Don't talk about a neighbour's private life in mixed company.More
