Jessica Simpson reveals 'artistic' jewellery line
Tuesday Aug 30 2011
Jessica Simpson is creating a range of fine jewellery.
The actress-and-singer has a massive fashion empire which is said to rake in over $1 billion a year. She's now created a new line of expensive jewellery called Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend.
The range will launch later this year and includes earrings, bracelets, pendants and rings all made from gold and silver with diamond detailing.
"The collection is beautifully crafted. The designs are airy and artistic and so easy to wear," Jessica told WWD.
The 31-year-old has designed the collection alongside Firestar Diamonds, the first time the company has collaborated with a major celebrity.
The pieces range in price from $79 to $999 and will be available to buy from American store Zales in October.
Jessica already creates shoes, boots, clothes, haircare products and make-up. She also has a line of perfumes consisting of three different scents and a range of handbags.
