Katy Perry was beautiful in blue at the Los Angeles premiere for The Smurfs 2.
The popstar stepped out on the blue carpet at the Regency Village Theatre in California where she turned heads in the bright gown.
Katy's dress was designed by Tadashi Shoji and contained a floral figure-hugging top section which gave way to a full leather skirt.
The singer added a pair of blue Pedro Garcia heels featuring a cute black bow detail to finish her colour co-ordinated look.
Katy's brown locks were styled into a side parting and curled into slight waves. She added a slick of pink lipstick to an otherwise natural make-up look.
The Teenage Dream star was accompanied to the event by her grandmother Ann Hudson, who wore a bedazzled Smurfs T-shirt in honour of the film.
Ann joked to E! News that Katy had chosen her unusual number for the occasion.
Katy quipped that she would bling all her grandma's clothing if she wanted her to.
"You know, if she requests it, with all of her incredible requests," Katy laughed.
This wasn't the first time that Katy's grandmother has accompanied her at a high profile event.
Ann also attended the 2011 Grammy Awards with her superstar granddaughter.
Katy recently unveiled her new fragrance Killer Queen, which she said reflects her new approach to her music.
“Killer Queen is powerful, edgy, sophisticated — and that’s exactly where I’m trying to be now with my music,” Katy explained.
“There were two different aspects in creating the fragrance. It’s almost like [using] two different parts of your brain — the packaging and bottle and marketing, but essentially all that doesn’t matter unless you have the juice.”
