Kelly Brook's new clothing collection is inspired by "classic Hollywood movies and the music [she] listens to".

The stunning star is launching her first womenswear range for New Look - after designing swimwear and lingerie lines for the high street retailer.

Kelly has revealed her motivations when coming up with the collection.

"It's inspired by the classic Hollywood movies I watch, the celebs I love, the music I listen to and the emerging catwalk trends I see at runway shows," she explained.

"It's summery and sexy. I wanted a beautiful collection that made girls look classy but fun - modern, but with a '50s edge."

Kelly is careful to keep the customer in mind when she's going through the design process. The 32-year-old beauty wants the women who buy her pieces to feel happy and confident when it comes to flaunting their figures.

"I'm not just the designer, I'm the customer too. I like to look at ways to make clothes that girls with curves don't feel exposed in and I always consider the underwear foundations. If you have boobs, it's vital to be able to wear a good bra, but still look super hot!" she told British magazine Closer.

Kelly found it more difficult to design clothing than lingerie and swimwear. The actress wanted to create a line that appealed to a range of women.

"I was overwhelmed at the start - designing clothes is very different. It was important to me to make sure the collection worked as a whole," she said.
