Kelly Osbourne has an aversion to lip gloss as it "makes her feel really nervous".
The TV presenter's make-up artist Julianne Kaye has revealed the secrets behind the star's striking lavender hair and bold make-up look.
According to Julianne, Kelly has very strong opinions on what she does and doesn't like when it comes to her beauty routine.
"Kelly really doesn't like lip gloss," Julianne told Lifestyle Mirror. "It makes her feel really nervous! And she's not a lip liner person, either."
Julianne revealed that Kelly has become a lipstick collector and likes to use her own items in shoots. She also explained how she gets Kelly's flawless complexion and striking eye make-up using an unconventional shade of mascara.
"For the lips I usually just give Kelly the lipstick and she applies it straight from the tube, That's how we roll," Julianne continued. "For the face I use Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation and set it with Chanel's loose Powder. I didn't fill in the brows so much, so I just groom them a bit. The blush is a light layer of a discontinued MAC colour called Strada. For mascara, I use YSL Faux Cils in burgundy. It doesn't come off too red, it looks black, which makes your lashes and eye colour stand out."
To get the Kelly eye liner look, Julianne has a top tip. She claims using a stationery item can help perfect the star's iconic signature eye liner look at home.
"Apply a Post-It note to the corners of the eyes for the perfect line. Unlike Scotch tape, it won't tug at your skin or remove your makeup," Julianne finished.
