Khloé Kardashian has suffered an embarrassing style crisis after her mother raided her wardrobe.

The host of the US version of The X Factor took to her Twitter account to vent her fury after Kris Jenner chose to don a piece from Khloé's closet.

"B**** stole my look, (sic)" Khloé tweeted after last night's show, along with a picture of the mother-daughter duo dressed in the same black leather mini-dress.

The picture of Kris was taken backstage at the recording of the hit reality singing show on Wednesday.

The whole Kardashian family had turned out to support Khloé, who is presenting a show for the first time. While her daughter was on stage, 55-year-old Kris sneaked into the dressing rooms.

The dress she stole was the same frock her daughter had sported on a Fox network show earlier this month.

"Oh hi momager! I see you raided my closet LOL," Khloé added on Twitter.

The star has previously spoken about the advice her mother has given her on appropriate dressing.

Khloé, who has a larger build than her sisters Kim and Kourtney, revealed Kris' words of wisdom.

"If I'm feeling self-conscious, I'll wear something oversized and off the shoulder. Baggy tops are great for hiding your tummy," she explained.

"Definitely my legs [are my favourite body part]. Mom has always said, 'If you're got it, flaunt it!' So when I'm going out I'll show off my best assets."
