Lauren Conrad has shared the perfect summer outfit combination.
The reality TV star-turned-designer recommends referring to classic icons like Audrey Hepburn for warm weather outfit help.
Lauren, 27, shared the perfect summer dress code to avoid discomfort in the heat while also looking super stylish.
"Hot days and humid nights are more often a formula for outfit disaster than perfect style. Fortunately, a striped tee that calls to mind chic summer style icons like Audrey Hepburn or Jean Seberg is an easy starting point for a no-fail outfit formula," Lauren advised on her official website. "Just add a breezy mid-length skirt (too short and too tight is never fun when it's hot outside), and finish off with a little sophistication via a great pair of espadrilles or sandals. All you have to think about is what jewellery you'll wear — maybe a great statement necklace for dinner out — and decide where you're going. "
Lauren is currently in a relationship with guitarist William Tell and recently spoke about the domestic duties she's taken up since the couple began dating last year.
The former The Hills star told America’s OK! magazine that she loves doing her beau's laundry when they spend a romantic day in together.
In another post on her website, Lauren has revealed exactly how she gets garments into pristine condition.
"Whether it’s a certain fit that flatters your figure or a colour that complements your complexion, most of us know how to shop for clothing that helps us look and feel our best. But what many people aren’t aware of is how to keep their clothes looking as good as new over time," she helpfully shared. "As I’ve developed my personal style and added more investment pieces to my wardrobe, it has become even more important to me that I care for my clothes the right way."
Lauren's five step plan guarantees your clothes will stay fresh and soft for longer. She advises to firstly check for fastenings that may come loose before washing, then to remember fabric conditioner and to protect delicates inside pillowcases. Her final tips are to wash garments inside out and add a scent booster to the machine.
"Caring for your washable garments at home goes beyond keeping that red sock out of your load of whites. Your mother may have taught you how to sort colours and load the washer, but today I am sharing a laundry list of tips that you might not have heard before," she finished.
