Lea Michele's debut commercial for L'Oréal Paris will be "sexy and sophisticated".

The newest spokesperson for the brand explained what sort of vibe she created on her first project with the iconic make-up brand.

Filmed in Brooklyn, New York, Lea gave a sneak peek of what we can expect from the adverts when they debut next year.

"I'm so excited. The theme of the shoot is a sexy and sophisticated vibe," Lea revealed in a sneak peek of the advert. "As you can see we're having so much fun, there's music and dancing around. There's a really young and playful energy which I think shows all sides of me."

The 26-year-old showed off an understated make-up look with her hair styled in soft, loose waves on the commercial's glamorous shoot.

Lea explained why this project, more than any others, is so special for her. The brunette beauty revealed it's been her lifelong ambition to sign with L'Oréal as she's had a close relationship with the brand throughout her life.

"This is a huge project for me. I'm so excited to be part of the L'Oréal family and it's a dream come true for me," Lea explained.

"I, myself and all the women in my family have been purchasing L'Oréal for as far back as I can remember. It's so great to be part of a company where I feel I can truly tell you about all the products and how best to use them. It's amazing to get to be part of the L'Oréal family, where I can truly talk from my heart about how passionate I am about it."
