Mariah Carey's nail polish line has been revealed.
The superstar singer has collaborated with nail lacquer giants OPI on a collection of eight new shades.
The first images of the sparkly and girly range have been released and show the brand has heavily incorporated Mariah's favourite shade pink and glitter in the line.
OPI is using the collaboration to introduce a brand-new type of nail finish called Liquid Sand. Four of these "Stage Shades" (as opposed to the normal "Studio Shades") feature a textured, matte finish when worn without a topcoat.
OPI executive vice-president and artistic director Suzi Weiss-Fischmann explained why they chose Mariah to represent their breakthrough new nail product.
"OPI is extremely excited to work with Mariah," Suzi revealed in an official statement. "She's very passionate about beauty and her nails in particular. To pay homage to her iconic status, we wanted to launch her collection with something completely new and exciting. Liquid Sand nail lacquer offers a never-before-seen look with a pebbled finish that lightly shimmers with fine glitter particles. Worn without topcoat, Liquid Sand lacquer gives nails a unique textured matte finish worthy of a superstar."
Mariah was announced as the latest celebrity to partner with the nail care line in August this year. At the time, Suzi gushed about the collaboration.
"Nails are part of her personality," Suzi said. "I really have always looked for celebrities for whom nails are very important, and it is not something you just Photoshop on a picture."
