M.I.A. is apparently the mystery celebrity who will collaborate with Versace.
Rumours had been rife that songstress Lana Del Rey was the new face of the fashion house, but now it seems British singer M.I.A. will be taking on the role.
According to Spin magazine, the 37-year-old star confirmed her involvement at an artist's talk at contemporary art institution MoMA PS1 in New York on Sunday.
The revelation apparently came after the singer projected an image of her desktop to her audience, which showed folders entitled "Versace Prints," "Bootleg Versace," and "Versace Outlines".
M.I.A. didn't elaborate on the nature of her involvement with the luxury brand, but from the names of the folders it appears she will be more than just a "face".
The star has had a longstanding interest in the brand and attended the Atelier Versace Show in Paris wearing clothing inspired from the designer's 1992 collection.
Rumours Lana would take on the role emerged after pictures were posted on an unofficial Twitter account, which seemingly showed her posing for the label's new campaign.
Lana has made her mark on the fashion industry this year, modelling for high street retailer H&M and landing a namesake Mulberry handbag.
